My questions, Is Twonky server, or Plex required for streaming music on any NAS. The fix is launch Twonky server on my iMac Browser, delete the cache, and rescan. However, occasionally I get the message “Access Denied” when trying to connect to the MYCloud Network drive using Audioengine. Most of the time streaming works fine, Everything is listed by it’s MetaData and plays. I use the Andioengine app on Android and IOS for the streaming. The songs, albums, are in a Public Share Folder on the NAS with Media turned on. If you need more storage, you can get the 6TB mode or the 8TB version.I currently use an OLD WD M圜loud to stream about 4000 songs using Audioengine. If you're interested in picking up the DS220+, I recommend two 4TB Seagate IronWolf drives. You can also easily back up all the devices on your home network, including the best Android phones, iPhones, MacBooks or Windows computers, and just about any device.
